The Woburn Business Association is a non-profit

organization focusing exclusively on improving and

promoting the local business climate in Woburn

by helping businesses work productively with each

other, with local government, and with the residential

community.

The Board of Directors meets monthly to develop

policy and provide guidance while an Executive

Director and Administrative Assistant provide day-to-

day accessibility and continuity. Standing committees

include the Marketing and Planning Committee, the

Government Relations Committee, the Community

Relations Committee, and the Program Committee.

The WBA also holds many networking events

throughout the year, including breakfast seminars,

informal receptions, dinner meetings, and social

gatherings, as a great way for new people and

businesses to meet each other. We encourage any

business that offers a service or product to the City of

Woburn to join us even if you do not live in or have

an office in the city.

The more businesses that are part of the

association, the more can be accomplished–not only

for local commerce but for the City as a whole. The

WBA sends its members a newsletter which keeps

them in tune with state and local legislation, provides

information and updates vital to the business

community, monitors the Downtown Revitalization

program, and features a Company of the Month

profile. All members are also included in this Local

Business Guide that was mailed to every home in

Woburn in March of this year.
