E.G. Barker Lumber Co. is one of the
oldest continuously operating business in
Woburn. Our origins date back to 1889. Prior
to 1889 it was operating under the name of
J.B. McDonald Lumber. The yard is located
at 36 Prospect St. The showroom and sales
office are at 10 Jefferson Ave. In 1922 Guy
E. Denison purchased Barker and it has
been owned and operated by the Denison
family for three generations. Barker’s
primary business is supplying quality
lumber, building materials, and construction
related products to professional contractors,
remodelers, and homeowners. We stock
KD & PT framing lumber, finish boards,
plywood, hardwoods decking, insulation,
molding, siding, construction hardware,
and tools. Doors, windows, and cabinets
are special order. Our experienced staff
is committed to being your construction
partner from frame to finish.
